Born in Mexico City in 1961, studies ceramics in Mexico, Madrid and Tokyo from 1982 to 1997 and steel fabrication and welding in Tokyo from 1993 to 1996, combing her studies with the learning of sumie (Chinese ink on rice paper) and manufacture of Japanese scrolls (Kakejiku). Attends various workshops “Talleres de Arte Actual” at the Circulo de Bellas Artes of Madrid from 1985 to 1988. Does her university studies at Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas of the National University of Mexico from 1982 to 1985.
