Born in Mexico City, studies Stoneware in Mexico, Madrid and Tokyo from 1982 to 1997 and steel fabrication and welding in Tokyo from 1993 to 1996, together with studies of Chinese ink on rice paper (Sumié) and manufacture of Japanese scrolls (Kakejiku)
